Use & Care
Do not fill the kettle beyond its safe working capacity.

The Alessi Liber-tea Water Kettle reworks Michael Graves's 9093 design for the 250th anniversary of American independence. Its polished 18/10 stainless steel body features 13 laser-engraved stars, a blue handle, brass-colored bird whistle, and a commemorative lid, with production limited to 499 numbered pieces.

A Working Kettle in a Numbered Edition
The Liber-tea holds 67.6 fluid ounces, providing enough hot water for several cups of tea, pour-over coffee, or table service. Its magnetic steel base works on induction cooktops as well as compatible conventional stovetops.
When the water boils, the bird-shaped whistle sounds through the spout. The blue thermoplastic handle provides a secure lifting surface while remaining visually distinct from the polished steel body.

The 9093 Reworked for 1776–2026
Michael Graves Design replaced the raised dots of the original kettle with 13 engraved stars and selected blue, cream, and brass tones inspired by George Washington's uniform. The anniversary details are built into the functional kettle rather than added as separate display elements.
