The Grain Mill handles wheat, rye, barley, spelt, buckwheat, millet, rice, coffee beans, seeds, dried herbs, spices, dried mushrooms, and soybeans. The hopper holds up to 1,250 grams, or 44 ounces, of dry ingredients at a time.

Grind size can be adjusted while the mill is running. Turn the control toward coarse or fine to set the texture for the ingredient and the way you plan to use it.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Please contact us to begin the return process.

Use & Care

Attach the Grain Mill to the Ankarsrum Assistent Original according to the manufacturer instructions.
Use only with dry ingredients.
Do not load more than 1,250 g / 44 oz at one time.
Run the Assistent Original at medium speed when milling.
Adjust the grind while the machine is running as needed.
Turn the adjustment toward coarse for a coarser grind and toward fine for a finer grind.
Do not wash the mill's adjustment section with water.
Clean the adjustment section with a dry cloth or fine brush.
The feed hopper is dishwasher safe.

Warranty Information

Ankarsrum's 7-year limited warranty applies to the Assistent Original machine, while accessories are treated as wear parts and are not covered under that warranty. Please check your item when it arrives and let us know right away about any scratches, dents, marks, or other delivery damage. Design & Grace offers 30-day returns on unused items in original packaging, and our team is happy to help.
