The Emile Henry Baguette Baker - Black gives three baguettes the steam, support, and controlled airflow needed for a thin, crisp crust and light interior. Made in France from high-fired Burgundy clay, the covered baker uses a ribbed three-loaf base and vented lid to recreate the humid environment of a traditional bread oven.

A Bread Oven for Three Baguettes

The ceramic lid traps moisture released by the dough, creating the humidity baguettes need during the early part of the bake. Vents allow carbon dioxide to escape as the loaves bake, helping the surface dry into the thin, crackling crust associated with a traditional French baguette.

The ribbed base cradles three shaped loaves and helps reduce sticking while preserving their long form. It accommodates a recipe using up to 3 cups of flour, making three traditional baguettes approximately 13.5 inches long.
