The Moka Express in Italian Colors
The Italia edition keeps the construction and brewing method of Bialetti's original Moka Express while dressing the aluminum body in the colors of the Italian flag. It is a particularly fitting version of a coffee maker that has been associated with Italian stovetop coffee since Alfonso Bialetti introduced the Moka Express in 1933.
Brewing is simple: add water to the lower chamber, fill the funnel with ground coffee without tamping, assemble the pot, and heat gently on the stovetop. Pressure created by the heated water moves brewed coffee into the upper chamber for a concentrated, full-bodied cup.
