The Jura Cold Brew Nitro Kit 24337 allows Jura's Cold Brew machines, the Z10, GIGA 10, E10 and J10 Twin, to prepare Nitro Coffee with a creamy foam head and a distinctive cascading effect. The kit connects the machine's milk system to a glass straw positioned inside the serving glass, using nitrogen drawn from the surrounding air during the machine's Cold Brew preparation. Two glass straws of different lengths accommodate different glass sizes, while the supplied holder keeps the straw securely positioned. No nitrogen cartridges or separate gas cylinder are required.

Nitro Coffee Without a Gas Cylinder

The Cold Brew Nitro Kit gives compatible Jura machines a way to create the texture associated with nitrogen-infused coffee without a separate nitrogen dispenser. Jura's process uses nitrogen from the surrounding air, which is around 80 percent nitrogen.

During the Cold Brew flat white preparation, freshly extracted Cold Brew coffee passes through the machine's milk system and is delivered through the connecting pipe and glass straw. The resulting drink develops a cascading appearance and a creamy foam head, with the refreshing character of freshly extracted Cold Brew coffee.

This is a different preparation from ordinary iced coffee or a hot-brewed coffee poured over ice. It uses the machine's Cold Brew extraction together with the Nitro Kit connection to create the finished texture.

Cold Brew Nitro Preparation

The kit is used with the Cold Brew flat white. The coffee is freshly extracted using cold water, then directed through the milk system and Nitro Kit to create the nitrogen-infused result.

Jura recommends a single-walled serving glass no taller than 5.3 inches and large ice cubes, placed in the glass by hand. The two supplied glass straws allow you to select the length that works with your glass.

After preparing Nitro Coffee, clean the machine's milk system to remove coffee residue before normal milk preparation resumes.

Use & Care
Select the long or short glass straw according to the serving glass.

Insert the glass straw carefully into the holder and attach the holder securely to the glass.

Use a single-walled serving glass with a maximum height of 5.3 inches.

Fill the glass generously with large ice cubes, placing them by hand. Avoid crushed or nugget ice.

Connect the supplied pipe securely between the glass straw and the coffee machine.

Select the Cold Brew flat white on the machine.

Jura Z10: 3 oz Cold Brew coffee, 8 seconds milk foam, 0 seconds milk, coffee strength set to strong.

Jura GIGA 10: size L, coffee level 2 of 6, milk foam level 6 of 6, grinder set to coarse or medium, coffee strength set to strong.

Jura E10 and J10 Twin: follow the Cold Brew flat white program.

Start the preparation and allow the Nitro Coffee process to finish.

After preparation, remove the kit components carefully.

Run the machine's milk system cleaning to remove coffee residue. Use the clear milk pipe or the HP3 milk pipe for cleaning, not the Nitro Kit connecting pipe.

Wash the glass straws, holder, and connecting pipe after use. All are dishwasher-safe, or wash them by hand with dish soap, rinse, and allow to air-dry.

Store the components clean and dry.
