Three Phases of Coffee-System Care

Jura's 3-phase cleaning formula works with the machine's electronically controlled cleaning program to address coffee residue inside the brewing unit and coffee outlet.

Phase 1, Cleaning: Removes coffee fats and residue that accumulate during normal brewing.

Phase 2, Care: Helps protect the internal coffee pathway and delay the buildup of fresh coffee-oil deposits.

Phase 3, Protection: Adds protection against mineral deposits in the coffee system.

The entire process is controlled by your Jura machine. When the cleaning program requests a tablet, add one and follow the display instructions.

One tablet. Each Jura 3-Phase Cleaning Tablet is formulated for one complete automatic coffee-system cleaning program.

How often should I clean my Jura coffee machine?

Follow the machine's cleaning prompt. The timing depends on the machine and usage. Do not postpone cleaning once the machine requests it.

Where do I put the cleaning tablet?

Follow your machine's instructions. On compatible models, the tablet is inserted into the designated cleaning-tablet or ground-coffee funnel when the machine prompts you.

Are 3-Phase Cleaning Tablets the same as descaling tablets?

No. Cleaning tablets remove coffee fats and brewing residue. Descaling tablets remove mineral scale from the water system. They are not interchangeable.

Will these tablets clean the milk system?

No. Jura milk systems require the appropriate Jura Milk System Cleaner and the machine's milk-cleaning procedure.

Can I use these tablets in an older Jura machine?

Jura's 3-Phase Cleaning Tablets replace its earlier 2-phase cleaning tablets. Follow the cleaning instructions for your specific Jura machine.
