At Design & Grace, we still suggest a descale about once a year, especially in hard water areas. This is optional maintenance, not a Jura requirement.

Use & Care
Use when your Jura machine requests descaling or when directed by its operating instructions.

For machines specifying three tablets per cycle, dissolve three Jura descaling tablets completely in the prescribed quantity of water. Many current Jura models specify three tablets in 17 oz (500 ml) of water, but your machine's instructions take precedence.

Pour the solution into the water tank only when instructed.

Complete the automatic descaling and rinsing program without interruption.

Rinse the water tank thoroughly as directed. Wipe up any spilled descaling solution immediately, particularly on sensitive surfaces such as natural stone or wood.

Store tablets in their original packaging, protected from moisture and heat.
