Zassenhaus Frankfurt 7" Salt Mill - Olive Wood

Zassenhaus Frankfurt 7" Salt Mill - Olive Wood

7-inch olive wood salt mill with German-made ceramic grinding mechanism and six adjustable grind settings

The Zassenhaus Frankfurt 7" Salt Mill combines natural olive wood with a precision ceramic grinding mechanism made in Germany. Its six adjustable settings let you move from finely ground salt for seasoning during cooking to a coarser texture for finishing at the table. The solid olive wood body has distinctive grain patterns that make each mill individual, while the corrosion-resistant mechanism is designed for years of regular use.

German Grinding Precision in Natural Olive Wood

The Frankfurt Salt Mill uses Zassenhaus's high-performance ceramic grinding mechanism, made in Germany and engineered to resist wear and corrosion. Its two-stage grinding process first breaks down the salt crystals, then reduces them to the selected texture. This provides control over the finished grind, whether you need fine seasoning or a more pronounced coarse salt.

A numbered adjustment ring at the base offers six settings, from ultra-fine at position 1 to coarse at position 6. Intermediate adjustments are also possible, and the selected setting stays in place when the mill is refilled. There is no need to reset the grind each time you add salt.

The 7-inch body is made from natural olive wood, chosen for its rich color and distinctive grain. No two mills look exactly alike. Its classic Frankfurt shape is comfortable to hold and pairs with the matching olive wood pepper mill for a coordinated kitchen or dining table set.

From Our Founder

"The Frankfurt is a good example of why the grinding mechanism matters more than anything else in a salt mill. The six settings give you useful control, and the adjustment stays where you leave it. I particularly like the olive wood version because every piece has its own grain, and the German-made ceramic mechanism is built for long-term use."
