Both pans are made in Denmark from a minimum of 90% recycled cast aluminum and use SCANPAN's STRATANIUM nonstick surface for easy release without giving up proper browning.

Danish-Made Nonstick for Everyday Cooking

CLASSIC cookware is hand-cast from recycled aluminum for quick, even heat distribution across the cooking surface. The STRATANIUM coating is designed to handle delicate foods easily while still allowing browning, searing, and deglazing.

SCANPAN secures the Bakelite handles with its patented locking system instead of screws or interior rivets. That leaves the cooking surfaces smooth and easier to clean, while both pans can move from stovetop to oven up to 500°F.

Gas and electric compatible: CLASSIC works on gas, ceramic, halogen, radiant ring, solid plate, and conventional electric cooktops.

Not induction compatible: The original CLASSIC aluminum construction does not have the magnetic base required for induction cooking.

Made in Denmark: CLASSIC cookware is manufactured at SCANPAN's Danish factory.
