M5 Pro-Ply uses five bonded layers of stainless steel and aluminum for rapid, even heating and precise control when you adjust the burner. The straight 2.8-inch sidewalls add capacity and help contain splatter while still giving you easy access for turning, stirring, and reducing.

Fissler welds the handle to the pan rather than fastening it through the cooking surface with rivets. That leaves a smooth interior with fewer places for residue to collect, while the sealed rim helps protect the bonded layers against corrosion from dishwasher chemicals.
