Questions answered
No. This steak knife has a sharp, straight cutting edge rather than serrations. It makes smooth cuts through steaks, chops, poultry, and other cooked foods without the sawing action of a conventional serrated steak knife.
The CLASSIC steak knife uses forged construction with a full tang extending through the handle. This provides the substantial feel, balance, and stability associated with WÜSTHOF CLASSIC kitchen knives in a compact table knife.
The CLASSIC steak knife is offered here in Black and White. Both versions share the same forged blade, straight cutting edge, full-tang construction, and 58 HRC hardness.
Yes. Its straight cutting edge can be maintained through regular honing and periodic sharpening. This makes it easier to maintain with conventional knife-sharpening methods than a serrated steak knife.
Wash by hand and towel-dry immediately. Avoid the dishwasher, abrasive sponges, and prolonged soaking. Store the blade safely to protect its cutting edge.
WÜSTHOF provides a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. Normal wear, misuse, and commercial use are excluded. Design & Grace can help with a warranty claim.
