The Dreamfarm Smood Potato Masher uses a collapsing stainless steel spring to press potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, avocado, and other soft foods into a smooth mash with less repetitive work than a traditional flat masher. The spring absorbs downward force as it compresses, while the ergonomic handle supports several grip positions and the built-in silicone scraper clears mash from the sides of the pot.

A Spring That Does the Mashing Differently

Smood's conical stainless steel spring traps food as you press downward. As the spring collapses, the food is forced through the narrowing spaces between the coils, producing a smooth mash without repeatedly chopping through the pot with a rigid plate.

The spring also absorbs the downward force of each press, reducing the hard stop and wrist jarring associated with a conventional rigid masher.
