The Opinel Picnic+ No.08 Knife Set turns the classic No.08 folding knife into compact cutlery for picnics, lunches, camping, and travel. The stainless steel fork and spoon inserts lock onto the knife's Virobloc® ring with the blade closed, while the included microfiber cloth wraps the pieces together for carrying and doubles as a cleaning cloth.

Knife, Fork, and Spoon in One Compact Kit

The Picnic+ system uses the No.08 knife's existing Virobloc® safety ring as the attachment point for the fork and spoon. Close the blade, rotate the ring open, slide the selected utensil into the small attachment points, then rotate the ring closed to hold it securely.

The knife remains a standard No.08 stainless steel folding knife when the inserts are removed, so the same compact tool handles cutting as well as eating.

Signature Features

No.08 stainless steel folding knife: Uses Opinel's classic Yatagan blade profile with corrosion-resistant martensitic stainless steel.

Fork insert: Stainless steel fork attaches directly to the No.08 handle using the Virobloc® safety ring.

Spoon insert: Stainless steel spoon uses the same attachment system for soups, yogurt, grains, and other foods.

Virobloc® attachment system: The rotating stainless steel ring secures the fork or spoon while the knife blade remains closed.

Beech wood handle: The traditional No.08 handle uses PEFC-certified beech with a varnished surface for moisture resistance.

Microfiber carry cloth: Wraps and stores the knife and inserts, then doubles as a cloth for wiping the pieces after use.

Compact format: The complete kit measures approximately 7.6 inches long and weighs about 3.5 ounces.
