The Alessi Plissé Thermo Insulated Jug keeps hot or cold drinks ready to serve in a lightweight form designed to stay on the table. Plissé Design Beyond the Appliance
Michele De Lucchi carries the pleated form of the Plissé appliance collection into an insulated jug made for serving at the table. The grey finish keeps the look understated while allowing the folded surface to remain the defining detail.
Inside, a double-wall thermal glass vessel insulates the contents without the weight of a heavy metal vacuum carafe. The 33.8 fl oz capacity is practical for coffee service, tea, hot water, or chilled drinks.
Signature Features
Double-wall thermal glass interior: Provides the insulating core that helps maintain beverage temperature between pouring and serving.
33.8 fl oz capacity: Holds approximately one liter for coffee, tea, hot water, or chilled beverages.
Grey thermoplastic resin exterior: Creates the lightweight pleated shell that identifies the Plissé collection.
Integrated pouring stopper: Controls the jug opening for serving while helping keep the vessel closed between pours.
Replaceable components: Alessi offers replacement lids, stoppers, and the thermal glass insert with gasket for longer-term ownership.
Michele De Lucchi design: Introduced in 2022 as a tabletop extension of the Plissé collection.
From Our Founder
"The grey Plissé jug is a quieter version of the design, which makes it easy to use across different table settings. The glass interior keeps it light, and the pleated shell gives it enough presence to leave out when you are serving."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
