Michael Graves' 1985 Design Icon
The 9093 was Michael Graves' first design for Alessi and has remained in production since 1985. Its form combines a polished or colored stainless steel kettle body with Graves' architectural handle and the small bird whistle that sounds when the water reaches a boil.
The full-size kettle holds 2 liters, or approximately 67.6 fluid ounces, making it practical for tea, coffee, and larger servings of hot water. A magnetic steel base makes the kettle suitable for induction as well as conventional stovetops.
Signature Features

From Our Founder
"The 9093 is one of those rare kitchen objects that works because the design never gets in the way of the job. It is still a proper stovetop kettle, but the handle, proportions, and bird whistle make it unmistakably Alessi."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
