Alessi Dry Salad Set
Two-piece 18/10 stainless steel salad serving set designed by Achille Castiglioni
The Alessi Dry Salad Set brings Achille Castiglioni's distinctive Dry cutlery design to serving greens, vegetables, and composed salads. Mirror-polished serving ends contrast with matte handles, giving the pair the restrained finish and elongated proportions that have defined the Dry collection since 1982.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Alessi product with the manufacturer's 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
Designed to stay in your collection: Dry is one of Alessi's longest-running cutlery families, making this serving set an easy addition to an existing Dry table setting or a strong standalone pair for everyday entertaining.
A Castiglioni Design for the Table
Achille Castiglioni designed Dry around the way each piece of cutlery actually meets the food rather than shaping the handle around the hand. The salad servers carry that idea into larger proportions, with long working ends, narrow necks, and substantial handles that feel visually disciplined without becoming severe.
The combination of polished stainless steel and matte handles also gives the set enough contrast to work with both contemporary dinnerware and more traditional table settings.
Signature Features
18/10 stainless steel: Durable stainless steel gives both servers the weight, finish, and longevity expected from Alessi flatware.
Mirror-polished serving ends: The working ends have a bright reflective finish that contrasts cleanly with the handles.
Matte handles: The characteristic Dry handle treatment creates a quieter tactile and visual finish through the grip.
Generous 11.82-inch length: Provides comfortable reach for large salad bowls and serving dishes.
Designed by Achille Castiglioni: The set belongs to Dry, Alessi's first cutlery collection and a design in continuous production since 1982.
From Our Founder
"Dry is one of those Alessi designs that does not need decoration to be recognizable. The contrast between the matte handle and polished steel is subtle, and the long proportions make these servers especially good with a generous salad bowl."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
