Alessi Dear Charlie Banana Holder
Chrome-plated zamak banana holder designed by John Truex
The Alessi Dear Charlie Banana Holder gives bunches of bananas a dedicated place on the counter instead of leaving them piled into a fruit bowl. John Truex shapes the chrome-plated zamak stand like a small branching tree, allowing bananas to hang freely while turning everyday fruit storage into a sculptural kitchen object.

A Better Place for the Banana Bunch
Dear Charlie lifts bananas above the counter on a single curved branch, keeping them separate from heavier fruit and easy to reach. The broad base provides a stable footprint, while the polished metal construction gives the holder enough presence to sit comfortably beside a fruit bowl or on its own.
Signature Features
Hanging banana storage: Suspends a bunch from the curved upper branch rather than letting the fruit rest on the counter or beneath other produce.
Chrome-plated zamak: Gives the holder its substantial construction and bright reflective finish.
Sculptural tree-like form: Turns a practical fruit-storage function into a distinctive countertop object.
11.03-inch height: Provides useful clearance for hanging a bunch while keeping the overall footprint compact.
John Truex design: Combines a simple functional idea with the polished metal language associated with Alessi tabletop pieces.
From Our Founder
"Dear Charlie solves a very ordinary kitchen problem in a way that feels completely Alessi. It keeps bananas off the counter, gives them room to hang, and looks good enough to stay out next to the fruit bowl."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
