Alessi Juicy Salif Citrus Juicer by Philippe Starck
Mirror-polished cast aluminum citrus juicer designed by Philippe Starck
The Alessi Juicy Salif Citrus Juicer turns a simple squeeze of lemon, lime, or orange into one of the most recognizable objects in modern kitchen design. Philippe Starck's three-legged form stands high enough for a glass to sit directly underneath, so juice can run from the central cone straight into the vessel below.

A Design Icon That Still Does the Job
Juicy Salif began with a sketch Philippe Starck made during a seaside trip in Italy and entered production in 1990. The elongated central cone handles the fruit while three tall legs lift the juicer above the work surface, leaving space for a glass beneath.
The mirror-polished cast aluminum construction gives the piece its bright sculptural finish, making Juicy Salif as comfortable on display as it is in use.
Signature Features
Three-legged form: Raises the juicer high enough to position a glass directly underneath while squeezing.
Central citrus cone: Designed for lemons, limes, oranges, and other citrus fruit.
Cast aluminum construction: Gives Juicy Salif its rigid sculptural body and distinctive metallic finish.
Mirror-polished surface: Creates the bright reflective appearance that makes the juicer immediately recognizable.
11.42-inch height: Provides the clearance that allows juice to flow directly into the glass below.
Philippe Starck design: In production since 1990 and one of Alessi's most recognizable kitchen objects.
From Our Founder
"Juicy Salif is one of those rare pieces where almost everyone recognizes the silhouette before they know the name. It is sculptural enough to leave out, but the height and three-leg design still make the actual squeezing process very simple."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
