The Messermeister 8.5-Inch Saddle Leather Magnetic Edge Guard protects an 8-inch kitchen knife without forcing the cutting edge into a tight sleeve. Saddle brown leather surrounds soft rubberized magnets that hold the blade securely, making the guard a practical choice for drawer storage, knife rolls, and travel.

Protection That Opens Around the Blade
The magnetic construction opens from the side and closes around the knife, so the sharpened edge does not need to slide through a conventional cover. Soft rubberized magnets hold the blade gently in place, while leather pull tabs make the guard easy to open when you need the knife.
At 8.5 inches long and 2.125 inches wide when closed, this size is designed for chef's, Santoku, Nakiri, and carving knives with blades measuring 8 inches or less.
