The cold metal handles ensure a pleasant grip temperature during cooking, which is why the tall pot is easy to hold and move even without cooking gloves or similar.
The lasered measuring scale inside the pot not only saves the measuring cup, it is also so robust that the units (liters and quarts) still make it easier to measure liquids even after decades of use.
