Alexander Girard for ACME Studio
Alexander Girard was a defining figure in American modern design, known especially for his work with color, pattern, textiles, interiors, and exhibitions. He led Herman Miller's textile division beginning in 1952 and brought a more expressive visual language to the modern furniture of designers including George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames.
ACME released Quatrefoil in August 2007 and completed the edition in 2012. Its finished-edition status makes it particularly interesting for collectors of Girard's work and ACME Studio's earlier designer writing instruments.
