Use & Care
Use coffee ground specifically for a moka pot.
Fill the funnel without pressing or tamping the coffee.
Brew over low heat and remove the moka pot when the coffee has finished rising.
Rinse the moka pot with lukewarm water after each use.
Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on the moka pot.
Do not place the moka pot in the dishwasher.
Allow every component to dry completely before reassembly and storage.
Use on induction only with a separate Bialetti induction plate.

The Original Moka Express in Blu Mediterraneo
The three-cup Moka Express uses Bialetti's established aluminum boiler, octagonal collector, funnel filter, and inspectable safety valve. Add water to the boiler, fill the funnel with moka-ground coffee without tamping, and brew over low heat for a concentrated, full-bodied cup.
The Blu Mediterraneo pattern uses intense blue and white motifs associated with Mediterranean ceramics. The placement of the decoration varies slightly from one moka pot to another, making each finished piece distinct.
