Use & Care
Inspect the pressure cooker, sealing ring, cooking valve, handles, and safety components before each use.
Never pressure cook without the required amount of liquid.
Observe the minimum and maximum fill levels specified by Fissler.
Use a reduced fill level for foods that expand, foam, or froth during cooking.
Confirm that the lid is correctly positioned and securely locked before allowing pressure to build.
Never force the pressure cooker open while it is pressurized.
Select the appropriate cooking setting for the food being prepared.
Keep hands and face away from escaping steam during depressurizing.
Allow the cooker and removable components to cool before cleaning.
The stainless steel cooker body is dishwasher safe; remove and clean pressure-control components according to Fissler's instructions.

The Fissler Vitavit® Premium 2.6 Qt Pressure Cooker gives you the full Vitavit® pressure-control system in a compact size suited to one or two people. Made in Germany from up to 90% recycled 18/10 stainless steel, it combines three pressure settings with a pressureless steam setting, a clear traffic light indicator, and Fissler's Cookstar® base for efficient everyday pressure cooking.
