Use & Care
Inspect the pressure cooker, sealing ring, valves, and safety components before each use.
Never use the pressure cooker without the required amount of liquid.
Observe the minimum and maximum fill levels specified by Fissler.
Do not exceed the permitted fill level, especially when cooking foods that expand or foam.
Confirm that the lid is correctly positioned and securely locked before building pressure.
Never force the pressure cooker open while it is pressurized.
Use the appropriate cooking level for the food being prepared.
Follow Fissler's instructions when depressurizing and keep hands and face away from escaping steam.
Allow removable pressure components to cool before handling or cleaning.
The stainless steel cooker body is dishwasher safe; remove and clean pressure-control components according to Fissler's instructions.
Check the sealing ring regularly and replace worn pressure-cooker components with genuine Fissler parts.

The Fissler Vitavit® Premium 8.5 Qt Pressure Cooker gives you the capacity for larger batches of beans, grains, stocks, soups, stews, braises, and whole-meal cooking with precise stovetop pressure control. Made in Germany from up to 90% recycled 18/10 stainless steel, it combines three pressure settings with a pressureless steam setting, an easy-to-read traffic light indicator, and Fissler's Cookstar® base for efficient heating on every common stovetop, including induction.

Pressure Cooking with More Control
Vitavit® Premium gives you three pressure levels for foods with different cooking needs, plus a non-pressurized steam setting for gentler preparation. The 8.5-quart size is Fissler's large Vitavit® Premium format and is recommended for approximately four to five people, with useful capacity for batch cooking and larger ingredients.
The cooking crown uses a traffic light system to show pressure status at a glance, while the positioning aid and locking indicator help confirm that the lid is correctly aligned and securely closed before pressure builds. Pressure can be released through the cooking crown or handle for more controlled depressurizing.
