Six Sharpening Angles
The included HORL 3 Pro Angle Support adjusts to 10°, 13°, 15°, 20°, 22°, and 25°. That wider range gives you more control over edge geometry, from extremely fine edges on hard steels to more durable angles for tougher blades. HORL groups 10°, 13°, and 15° with fine sharpening applications and 20°, 22°, and 25° with more robust edges.

Planetary Gearing, Three Times Faster
Inside the roller, a 1:3 planetary gear ratio drives the sharpening disc at three times the speed of the HORL 3. Combined with HORL’s block diamond grinding surface, which removes up to 80% more steel than the HORL 2 version, the Pro is built for faster material removal and more precise control over demanding sharpening work.

Diamond Grinding, Ceramic Honing and Quick Lock
The standard diamond disc establishes the edge across knife hardness grades, while the ceramic honing disc removes the burr and refines the finish. HORL Quick Lock lets you exchange those discs for compatible HORL 3 accessories, so the Pro can move from basic edge setting through increasingly fine refinement and polishing.
The HORL Grip Pad and strong magnets help secure the blade against the adjustable angle support, including smaller knives that can be difficult to hold steadily. For a serious knife collection, the Pro lets you choose the edge angle deliberately and reach it faster.

Use & Care
Select the sharpening angle recommended for the knife steel, blade geometry, and intended use.
Adjust the HORL 3 Pro angle support to one of its three indexed positions to access 10°, 13°, 15°, 20°, 22°, or 25°.
Place the knife against the magnetic Grip Pad with the cutting edge exposed.
Use the Standard Diamond disc first to establish or refresh the bevel.
Roll the sharpener evenly along the full cutting edge from heel to tip.
Work both sides until a consistent edge and burr have developed.
Turn to the Ceramic honing disc to remove the burr and refine the edge.
Use controlled pressure rather than pressing heavily into the blade.
Wipe the sharpener and magnetic support with a dry or lightly damp soft cloth as needed.
Keep the aluminum body and internal gear mechanism dry.
Do not place the sharpener or angle support in the dishwasher.
Use only HORL 3 Quick Lock-compatible replacement and accessory discs.
HORL rolling sharpeners are intended for straight cutting edges and are not suitable for serrated blades.
