Care Kit

Essential Maintenance in One Kit

The Jura Care Kit covers three important maintenance routines: water filtration, coffee-system cleaning, and milk-system hygiene. Each has a separate function, and together they help maintain consistent performance and reduce the inconvenience of sourcing individual supplies as they run out.

The CLEARYL Smart+ cartridges filter incoming water and help prevent limescale formation. Jura cleaning tablets remove coffee fats and residue from the internal brewing pathway. Milk system cleaner removes milk fats and proteins, while the replacement pipes support regular maintenance of the milk connection.

The products are supplied in a compact storage box that keeps the supplies together in a kitchen cupboard.

Use & Care
Water filters: Replace CLEARYL Smart+ cartridges when prompted by your compatible Jura machine. Install and activate according to the machine's instructions.

Brewing-system cleaning: Use one Jura cleaning tablet when the machine requests its automatic cleaning program.

Milk-system cleaning: Clean the milk system daily whenever milk has been prepared, using the supplied Mini Tabs according to the machine's instructions.

Milk pipes: Replace approximately every three months with normal use, or sooner with frequent milk preparation. Use compatible end fittings.

Store all maintenance products in their original containers or packaging and keep them away from children.

With an active filter, Jura does not require routine descaling; we suggest an optional descale about once a year, especially in hard water areas. Follow all machine maintenance prompts, including any descaling instructions if filtration is interrupted or the cartridge is not replaced.

What is included in the Jura Care Kit?

Which Jura machines is the Care Kit for?

Every Jura machine that takes the CLEARYL Smart+ filter: the GIGA 10, Z10, J10 Twin, J8 Twin, S8, E10, E8, E6, E4, ENA 8, ENA 4, C9 and C3, and the earlier J8, GIGA 6, Z8, Z6, J6 and D6. Professional machines (GIGA X8, X8, X10, W8 and WE8) use CLEARYL Pro Smart+ 25056 instead.

Does the kit include descaling tablets?

No. The kit includes water filters, brewing-system cleaning tablets, milk cleaner, and milk tubing. Jura descaling tablets are a separate maintenance product. When an activated CLEARYL filter is in use, your Jura will not prompt you to descale, and Jura's position is that routine descaling is not required. At Design & Grace, we still suggest a descale about once a year, especially in hard water areas. This is optional maintenance, not a Jura requirement.

Will this kit fit every Jura coffee machine?

No. The included filters use the CLEARYL Smart+ system, so your machine must be compatible with that filter type. Check your exact model before ordering.

What do the three water filters do?

CLEARYL Smart+ cartridges filter incoming water, help control limescale, and reduce substances that can interfere with coffee flavor and aroma.

How many coffee-system cleaning cycles are included?

The six Jura cleaning tablets provide six automatic brewing-system cleaning cycles, using one tablet per cycle.

How often should I clean the milk system?

Jura recommends cleaning the milk system every day that milk has been prepared. Use the supplied cleaner with your machine's milk-system cleaning procedure.

How often should I replace the milk pipe?

Jura recommends replacing milk tubing approximately every three months with normal use, or more frequently when preparing several milk drinks each day.

Are milk-pipe connectors included?

No. Jura specifies that end fittings for the milk pipes are sold separately. Retain compatible existing connectors or purchase the appropriate fittings when needed.

Do I still need cleaning tablets when using CLEARYL Smart+ filters?

Yes. The filters manage water quality and limescale. Cleaning tablets remove coffee oils and residue from the brewing system. These are separate maintenance functions.

Will the kit last a year?

Actual usage depends on your machine, the number of coffees prepared, water consumption, and milk-system cleaning frequency. Follow your machine's prompts and the replacement guidance for each individual product.
