The Jura Cup Warmer 72229 keeps espresso and coffee cups preheated so freshly prepared drinks lose less heat when they reach the cup. Two heating elements keep the cups in its two drawers at about 131°F (55°C), while a top tray provides passively heated space for more cups and glasses. Soft-closing drawers, a slim footprint, and programmable switch-on and switch-off times make it a practical companion for any coffee machine, Jura or otherwise.

Keep the Coffee Hotter in the Cup

Preheated cups reduce the temperature drop that happens when fresh espresso or coffee is poured into cold porcelain. The Jura Cup Warmer addresses this with two heated drawers that bring cups to about 131°F (55°C).

That makes a noticeable difference with smaller drinks such as espresso, where the cup itself can absorb a lot of heat. It is equally useful for cappuccinos and other milk specialties that benefit from a warm serving cup.

The warmer's slim design lets it sit neatly beside a coffee machine without needing a large dedicated storage area.

Two Drawers and an Extra Warming Tray

Both drawers have a cushioning mechanism so they close smoothly and quietly. They take cups up to about 3.5 inches in diameter and 4.3 inches high, which suits a range of espresso, coffee, and cappuccino cups.

According to Jura, each level holds up to 5 espresso cups, 4 coffee cups or 6 cappuccino cups, depending on their shape and size.

A passively heated aluminum tray on top provides extra space for cups or glasses you want to keep close at hand.

Use & Care
Setup

Place the Cup Warmer on a firm, level, heat-resistant surface, away from water and other heat sources.

Connect the power cable to the Cup Warmer and a suitable outlet.

Open the drawers and place clean, dry cups inside. Add more cups or glasses to the top tray if you like.

Switch on the Cup Warmer.

Timer

Set the clock before programming the switch-on and switch-off times.

Use the buttons to set the switch-on time, and a switch-off time if you want one.

If no switch-off time is set, the Cup Warmer switches itself off after 12 hours.

If the Cup Warmer is unplugged, the times are reset and need to be entered again.

Cleaning

Switch off the Cup Warmer, unplug it and let it cool before cleaning.

Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.

Don't use sharp, abrasive, or corrosive cleaners, and don't immerse it in water or put it in a dishwasher.
