Pillivuyt 6" Plisse Bowl - Set of 2
Set of two French porcelain bowls with classic pleated detailing, 6-inch diameter, and 14 oz capacity per bowl
The Pillivuyt 6" Plisse Bowls bring French porcelain craftsmanship to everyday meals, with a versatile size for cereal, soup, salads, fruit, and desserts. Made in France, each bowl holds 14 oz and features the fine pleated detailing that defines Pillivuyt's Plisse collection. The brilliant white glaze and gently flared shape make these bowls easy to pair with existing dinnerware, while the durable porcelain moves comfortably from everyday breakfast to more formal table settings.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Pillivuyt retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Pillivuyt retailer, providing genuine French porcelain backed by the full manufacturer warranty.
Made in France: Crafted in Mehun-sur-Yevre, France, where Pillivuyt has produced porcelain since 1818.
Ships from Texas: Your set of two bowls is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility, with particular attention to protecting the porcelain during transit.
Classic French Porcelain for Everyday Meals
Plisse takes its name from the French word for pleated. The collection revisits a mid-20th-century design with fine, evenly spaced ridges that create subtle texture around each piece. On these bowls, the pleating provides a distinctive border without competing with the food being served.
At 6 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches high, each bowl is comfortably sized for individual servings. The 14 oz capacity works well for breakfast cereals, yogurt with fruit, a bowl of soup, a small salad, or dessert. The clean white porcelain also coordinates with other Pillivuyt collections, making it easy to add to an existing table setting.
Pillivuyt porcelain is fired at approximately 2550°F, producing a hard, nonporous glazed surface that resists scratching, staining, chipping, and crazing. These bowls are suitable for the microwave, freezer, dishwasher, and oven up to 550°F, so they are as practical for daily use as they are attractive on the table.

From Our Founder
"I particularly like this size of Pillivuyt bowl because you'll use it constantly. It's equally good for breakfast cereal, soup, fruit, or dessert, and the fine pleated detail makes it more interesting than a plain white bowl. Pillivuyt's porcelain is exceptionally practical, so these are pieces you can enjoy every day rather than save for special occasions."
