Use & Care
SUGGESTIONS FOR DAILY USE
Before first use:
- Remove all labels and wash your product in warm soapy water; dry completely.
- If required, assemble the glass knob according to the directions in the user’s guide.
Never use aerosol sprays or cooking sprays:
- The propellants in this type of nonstick products can impair the nonstick properties of our pans if not properly cleaned after every use – we recommend using your favorite oil, butter or fat for taste as you don't need to use anything in our nonstick pans if you don't want to.
For best cooking results:
- We recommend heating your pan for 60-90 seconds on medium heat to get the perfect cooking temperature (you'll save energy, too!) at which time your pan will be ready to sear, brown and deglaze!
- If you use your pans on a higher heat, we recommend using a high-heat flash point oil such as grape seed, avocado, rice or vegetable oils for optimum cooking performance.
For a lifetime of use, always do the following:
- Clean & rinse your pan after every use using warm to hot soapy water and sponge.
- Do not be afraid to use a natural bristle or nylon brush to clean with Bar Keepers Friend or any other scouring cleanser for stickier or problematic situations.
- Do not leave any visible or physical food/fat residue in your pan after cleaning; doing so can cause sticking to occur during next use; re-clean, if necessary, using hot water.
- To avoid scratches and scuff marks to the exterior/interior of your pans, do not store directly on top of one another without using some type of divider/protection.
Shipping & Returns
Domestic shipping can take 1-5 business days.
We offer a returns policy on purchases within 30 days of the ship date. We will provide you with a return label on request, then we will deduct our shipping fees from your overall refund. When returning any items, they should be in "as new" condition in it's original packaging. Please be sure to include all packaging, labels, inserts, etc. Items that have been used will be assessed on return and a restocking fee may be applied.
Warranty Information
WARRANTY
- Scanpan products warranty is available when purchased from an authorized Scanpan dealer. Scanpan warranty is non-transferable when sold by unauthorized parties.
- SCANPAN cookware comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Defects include peeling, pitting, and bubbling of the surface and do not include residue buildup.
- If you believe a product to be defective, it may be returned based on the warranty specific to the item. This warranty is included in the original packaging. Please refer to it before attempting to return the item.
- Please email Scanpan Customer Care department at scanpanwarranty@scanpan.com or you may call them toll-free at 1-877-772-5467.
- For all approved claims, please allow 4-6 weeks from the time we receive your package for your replacement order to be processed.
- This timeframe may be modified if the item is on backorder status and a comparable substitute is not available.
- If you have an inquiry on the status of your claim, please email scanpanwarranty@scanpan.com and provide your full name and assigned RA number for reference.
- SCANPAN reserves the right to determine if the product has been used in a manner that would violate the warranty.
- SCANPAN is not responsible for items lost in transit or items sent without an approved RMA.
- Accessories are not covered by the Warranty.
- Fusion 5 and STS are not covered by the Warranty.
