Three Knives for the Work You Do Most
The 8-inch chef's knife handles chopping, slicing, and general prep. The 8-inch bread knife takes care of crusty loaves and other foods that benefit from a serrated edge, while the 4-inch paring knife gives you the control needed for peeling, trimming, and smaller detail work.
Signature Features
Forged Nitrox® steel: The blades use Tarrerias Bonjean's Nitrox® stainless steel, developed for edge durability, corrosion resistance, and everyday kitchen use.
Full-tang construction: Each blade runs through the handle for added stability and balance.
56 HRC hardness: The steel is hardened to a level that balances edge holding with straightforward maintenance and resharpening.
Triple-riveted POM handles: The handles are built for durability and a secure, practical grip.
Made in Thiers, France: The Maestro line is produced in one of France's historic centers of cutlery making.

From Our Founder
"This is the kind of three-piece set I like because nothing is decorative or redundant. A chef's knife, bread knife, and paring knife will handle the majority of kitchen work, and the forged French construction gives the set a much more substantial feel than a typical starter block."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
