Will this magnetic holder work with knives outside the PERFORMER range?
Yes. It can hold compatible magnetic steel kitchen knives from other WÜSTHOF ranges as well as PERFORMER. Knives with nonmagnetic blades or unsuitable blade construction may not attach securely.
Can the magnetic holder damage knife edges?
Properly used magnetic storage keeps knives separated and off the countertop. Place the blade's flat side against the holder and avoid dragging the cutting edge across its surface. Remove knives with a controlled motion rather than pulling the edge along the holder.
