Roll Whole Grains into Fresh Flakes

The Flake Mill presses whole dry grains through its roller to flatten them into flakes. Use it for oats, wheat, rye, rice, spelt, quinoa, and buckwheat when you want freshly processed grain for breakfast cereals, baking, or adding texture to breads and other recipes.

The hopper accepts up to 1,250 grams, or 44 ounces, at a time. Ankarsrum specifies medium mixer speed during operation.

The Flake Mill is intended only for clean, dry grain. Ankarsrum specifically advises against nuts, raisins, dried fruit, or grain containing foreign objects such as stones, which can damage the roller.

Use & Care

Attach the Flake Mill to the Ankarsrum Assistent Original according to the manufacturer instructions.
Use only clean, dry grains.
Do not load more than 1,250 g / 44 oz at one time.
Run the Assistent Original at medium speed.
Do not process nuts, raisins, dried fruit, or other ingredients not approved for the Flake Mill.
Check grain for stones or other foreign objects before milling.
Empty grain residue from the roller and mill housing after use.
Wipe the mill housing and roller area with a damp cloth.
Do not immerse or wash the mill mechanism.
The feed tray is dishwasher safe.

Warranty Information

Ankarsrum's 7-year limited warranty applies to the Assistent Original machine, while accessories are treated as wear parts and are not covered under that warranty. Please check your item when it arrives and let us know right away about any scratches, dents, marks, or other delivery damage. Design & Grace offers 30-day returns on unused items in original packaging, and our team is happy to help.
