Alessi Decorative Circus Jar - 75cl

Alessi Decorative Circus Jar - 75cl

75 cl silk-screened glass storage jar with hermetic circus-inspired tinplate lid by Marcel Wanders

The Alessi Decorative Circus Jar in the 75 cl size turns everyday pantry storage into one of Marcel Wanders' most playful kitchen designs. Its clear silk-screened glass body keeps the contents visible, while the red-and-white striped hermetic lid and gold-colored knob give the jar the miniature carousel character that defines the Circus collection.

A Miniature Carousel for the Kitchen

Marcel Wanders based the Circus jars on the visual language of fairground rides. The lid uses red-and-white striping reminiscent of carousel awnings, while the gold-colored knob sits at the center like the decorative finial on a miniature ride.

The transparent glass below keeps the jar practical. You can see what is inside at a glance, while the hermetic lid helps preserve freshness, aroma, and flavor.

From Our Founder

"The Circus jars are a good example of Marcel Wanders making storage more enjoyable without making it less useful. The clear glass tells you exactly what is inside, and the striped lid gives the pantry a little character without taking over the room."
