Insulation Inside the Plissé Form
Michele De Lucchi carries the pleated surface of the Plissé collection around the jug's thermoplastic exterior, giving a practical serving piece the same recognizable profile as the collection's appliances.
Inside, a double-wall thermal glass vessel provides the insulating structure. The combination keeps the jug relatively lightweight while separating the drink from the decorative outer body.
Signature Features
1-liter capacity: Holds 33.8 fl oz, a useful size for serving coffee, tea, hot water, or chilled beverages at the table.
Double-wall thermal glass: The insulated glass interior helps maintain beverage temperature between pours.
Thermoplastic exterior: Protects the internal glass vessel while giving the jug the distinctive Plissé form.
Pleated surface: Michele De Lucchi's sculpted folds give the jug the same visual language as the broader Plissé collection.
Integrated handle and pouring spout: Keeps serving simple and controlled without adding unnecessary mechanisms.
Red finish: Adds strong color while retaining the clean geometry of the collection.
Introduced in 2022: The insulated jug extends Plissé beyond electrical appliances into tabletop beverage service.
From Our Founder
"This jug works especially well because the insulation is hidden inside a form that looks at home on the table. The red Plissé exterior gives it presence, but the lightweight body and one-liter size keep it very easy to use every day."
