Alessi & Pasta Cooking Gift Set
Three-piece pasta preparation set with Vabene, Voile, and Parmenide by three Alessi designers
The Alessi & Pasta Cooking Gift Set brings together three purpose-built tools for measuring, testing, and finishing pasta. Voile portions dry spaghetti before cooking, Vabene lets you lift and taste pasta directly from the pot, and Parmenide grates and holds cheese for serving at the table.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Alessi gift set with the manufacturer's 24-month warranty against product defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
Three tools with distinct jobs: Each piece handles a different stage of cooking pasta, making this a useful gift rather than a collection of decorative accessories.
From Measuring to the Table
Paolo Gerosa's Voile spaghetti measure uses three openings to portion approximately one, two, or five servings of dry spaghetti. Once the pasta is cooking, Miriam Mirri's Vabene tester lets you lift a piece directly from the pot to check texture without reaching for a full serving utensil.
Alejandro Ruiz's Parmenide completes the set at the table. Its integrated stainless steel grater lets you grate cheese directly into the thermoplastic container beneath it, so the same piece works as both grater and cheese cellar.
Signature Features
Vabene pasta tester: The mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel tool is shaped to lift and taste pasta directly from the cooking pot and can also be used with vegetables and pulses.
Voile spaghetti measure: Three openings help measure approximately one, two, or five portions of dry spaghetti before cooking.
Parmenide grater with cheese cellar: Combines a mirror-polished stainless steel grating surface with a black thermoplastic container for collecting and serving grated cheese.
Three established Alessi designs: The set brings together work by Miriam Mirri, Paolo Gerosa, and Alejandro Ruiz in one pasta-focused collection.
Compact kitchen tools: Each component is small enough for convenient drawer or countertop storage while addressing a specific part of pasta preparation.
Introduced as a set in 2024: Alessi assembled the three existing designs into a dedicated gift set for pasta cooking and serving.
From Our Founder
"This set works because the three pieces are genuinely useful at different points in making pasta. Voile helps with portioning, Vabene gives you an easy way to check doneness, and Parmenide keeps the grated cheese right where you need it at the table."
