Alessi 100% Make Up Miniature
Fine bone china miniature of Alessandro Mendini's 100% Make Up vase
The Alessi “100% Make Up” Miniature brings Alessandro Mendini's celebrated vase project into a compact collectible format. Made in fine bone china and standing just over five inches high, TAM58 M preserves the tall, lidded proportions of the original design while making it easy to display on a shelf, desk, or alongside other Alessi miniatures.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Alessi collectible backed by the manufacturer's warranty against product defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi miniature is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
A collectible piece of Alessi history: The miniature connects directly to Mendini's 100% Make Up project, one of Alessi's most ambitious explorations of decoration and authorship.
A Monumental Project in Miniature
Alessandro Mendini conceived 100% Make Up around a single vase form interpreted through different decorative treatments. The project brought together a wide range of artists, architects, and designers, turning one standardized object into a study of how surface and authorship can completely change its identity.
It reduces that idea to collectible scale. The miniature keeps the distinctive elongated body and lid while giving design collectors a compact way to own a reference to the larger 100% Make Up project.
Signature Features
Fine bone china: Gives the miniature a refined ceramic surface appropriate to its collectible scale.
Miniature proportions: At approximately 5.04 inches high, the piece is easy to display without requiring the space of a full-size decorative vase.
Lidded form: Preserves the characteristic silhouette of Mendini's 100% Make Up vase.
Alessandro Mendini design: The miniature is based on the 100% Make Up project coordinated and designed around Mendini's original vase form.
Collector-focused format: Part of Alessi's tradition of reproducing important designs at miniature scale for display and collecting.
From Our Founder
"This is the kind of Alessi miniature that makes sense for a collector because it represents a much larger design story in a very small footprint. You get Mendini's recognizable form and the history of the 100% Make Up project without needing room for the full-size vase."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
