Alessi Pescher Extensible Trivet
Mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel trivet with an extensible fish-inspired form by D'Urbino-Lomazzi
The Alessi Pescher Extensible Trivet adapts to the size and shape of the cookware you bring to the table. Designed by D'Urbino-Lomazzi, its articulated 18/10 stainless steel structure opens into a long sculptural support for hot pots, pans, and serving dishes, then contracts again when you need less surface area.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Pescher with Alessi's 24-month manufacturer warranty against product defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
Made to adjust at the table: The extensible construction gives you more flexibility than a fixed trivet when serving cookware and dishes in different sizes.
A Trivet That Changes Shape
Pescher is built from a sequence of linked stainless steel elements that open and close in an articulated motion. Extended, the trivet reaches just over 20 inches long, giving you support for larger pans and serving pieces. Contracted, it takes up far less space on the table or in storage.
The mirror-polished finish gives the practical mechanism a more formal presence, so Pescher works comfortably as part of a finished table setting rather than looking like a purely utilitarian kitchen accessory.
Signature Features
Extensible construction: Opens and contracts to accommodate different cookware and serving-dish sizes.
18/10 stainless steel: Provides a durable metal structure suited to repeated tabletop use.
Mirror-polished finish: Gives the articulated form a bright reflective surface that works naturally with Alessi flatware and serving pieces.
Generous extended length: Reaches 20.09 inches long, making it useful beneath larger pots, pans, and platters.
D'Urbino-Lomazzi design: The articulated form reflects the designers' longstanding interest in movement, materials, and functional objects.
From Our Founder
"Pescher is useful because it adjusts to what you are actually serving instead of forcing every pot onto the same small trivet. The polished steel also means it feels completely at home on the table when dinner is more formal."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
