Essential Vitamix Control
The VX1 keeps blending simple with a variable-speed dial from 1 to 10 and a Pulse function. Adjust the speed as ingredients move through the container, from coarse chopping and textured salsa to smooth purées, soups, and frozen drinks. There are no automatic recipe programs to navigate.

The 64 oz Classic container has the tall, narrow profile familiar from the Vitamix 5200. It provides capacity for larger recipes while remaining useful for smaller and midsize blends. At 19.6 inches high, the assembled VX1 is taller than the VX3 and Ascent X models, something worth considering when choosing its countertop location.
