Use & Care
Always operate with the container, lid, and lid plug securely installed.
Start at a low speed and increase gradually.
Use the supplied tamper only through the lid-plug opening while the lid is secured.
Do not blend ingredients or liquids above 210°F.
For routine cleaning, add warm water and a drop of dish soap, then run the Self-Cleaning program.
Unplug the motor base before wiping it clean.
Never immerse the motor base, power cord, or plug in water.
Do not operate the blender if the container, blades, cord, or plug appears damaged.
Use only compatible Vitamix containers and accessories.

Its tall 64-ounce Classic container works across small and large batches, giving you the familiar Vitamix blending format used on the 5200.

The VX1 keeps the controls focused on a variable-speed dial, Pulse function, and dedicated Self-Cleaning program. You can adjust speed at any point during a blend, moving from coarse chopping and textured salsa to smooth purées and drinks without selecting a preset.
The 64-ounce Classic container has the tall, narrow profile associated with the Vitamix 5200. It can process full recipes while remaining effective for smaller and midsize blends.
