Alessi Dry 5 Piece Cutlery Set
Five-piece place setting in 18/10 stainless steel with mirror-polished heads and distinctive matte handles
The Alessi Dry 5 Piece Cutlery Set brings Achille Castiglioni's precise approach to everyday flatware in a complete individual place setting. Mirror-polished working ends contrast with broad matte handles, giving Dry its unmistakable look while keeping each spoon, fork, and knife focused on the food it is designed to handle.

Alessi's First Cutlery Collection
Dry entered production in 1982 as Alessi's first complete cutlery design. Achille Castiglioni concentrated the ergonomics at the working end of each piece, using long fork tines, generous spoon bowls, and elongated blades rather than shaping the handles around the hand.
The handles themselves are deliberately broad and flat with a characteristic ingot-like profile, finished in matte stainless steel against the polished upper surfaces. The result remains one of Alessi's most recognizable and enduring flatware designs.
Signature Features
Five-piece place setting: Includes one table spoon, table fork, table knife, dessert fork, and tea spoon.
18/10 stainless steel: Durable stainless construction is made for regular table use and repeated cleaning.
Two contrasting finishes: Mirror-polished working ends meet matte handles for the defining Dry appearance.
Food-focused proportions: Wide fork tines, generous spoon bowls, and elongated knife blades reflect Castiglioni's emphasis on how each utensil meets the food.
Distinctive flat handles: The broad ingot-shaped handles and slender neck joints give the collection its architectural profile.
Designed by Achille Castiglioni: Dry has been in production since 1982 and was Alessi's first cutlery service.
From Our Founder
"Dry is one of those flatware patterns that becomes more interesting when you use it. The matte handles feel visually quiet, while the polished working ends and carefully shaped forks, spoons, and knife make the set feel very deliberate at the table."
