Alessi Mazagran Cold Brew Coffee Carafe - Brown

The Alessi Mazagran Cold Brew Coffee Carafe in Brown gives slow cold extraction a dedicated vessel designed by Giulio Iacchetti. Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Mazagran with Alessi's 24-month manufacturer warranty against product defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
Designed for cold extraction: Mazagran is built specifically for brewing coffee with cold water, giving you a straightforward way to prepare concentrated, refreshing coffee ahead of time.
Cold Brew by Design
Mazagran was developed around the cold brew method, where ground coffee extracts gradually in cold water rather than being exposed to heat. The process produces a drink with a full body and lets the coffee develop without the oxidation associated with hot-water brewing.
The tall borosilicate glass carafe keeps the process easy to monitor, while the internal stainless steel filter separates the grounds from the finished coffee when it is ready to serve.
Signature Features
30.4 fl oz capacity: Gives you enough room for a substantial batch of cold brew for several servings.
Borosilicate glass carafe: Provides a durable transparent vessel that lets you see the coffee as it extracts.
18/10 stainless steel filter: Holds the coffee grounds during brewing and eliminates the need for disposable paper filters.
Brown thermoplastic details: Give the carafe a warm visual accent while providing the functional parts of the assembly.
Purpose-built for cold brew: Designed specifically around slow extraction with cold water rather than adapted from a hot coffee maker.
Giulio Iacchetti design: Mazagran reflects Iacchetti's interest in rethinking familiar rituals through clear, functional forms.
Introduced in 2022: Mazagran joined the Alessi coffee collection as a dedicated cold brew system.
From Our Founder
"Mazagran is appealing because the design stays focused on the brewing method. The glass lets you see exactly what is happening, the steel filter keeps the process simple, and the finished carafe looks good enough to bring straight to the table."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
