Alessi Mazagran Cold Brew Coffee Carafe - Red
30.4 fl oz cold brew carafe in borosilicate glass with red thermoplastic details and 18/10 stainless steel filter
The Alessi Mazagran Cold Brew Coffee Carafe in Red gives cold extraction a dedicated vessel designed by Giulio Iacchetti. The borosilicate glass carafe keeps the brewing process visible, while the stainless steel filter holds the coffee grounds in place for a smooth, full-bodied cold brew without paper filters.
Why Order from Design & Grace
Authorized Alessi retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Alessi retailer, so you receive a genuine Mazagran with Alessi's 24-month manufacturer warranty against product defects.
Ships from Texas: Your Alessi order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility.
Designed specifically for cold brew: Mazagran gives you a clear, purpose-built system for slow extraction with cold water and a reusable stainless steel filter.
Cold Brew by Design
Mazagran was developed around the cold brew method, where ground coffee extracts gradually in cold water instead of being exposed to heat. The tall borosilicate glass carafe gives the coffee room to infuse while making it easy to see the process from start to finish.
The internal 18/10 stainless steel filter separates the grounds from the finished coffee, while the red thermoplastic components give this version a stronger visual presence on the counter or table.
Signature Features
30.4 fl oz capacity: Holds 90 cl, giving you enough room for a generous batch of cold brew for several servings.
Borosilicate glass carafe: Provides a durable transparent vessel that keeps the extraction process visible.
18/10 stainless steel filter: Holds the coffee grounds during brewing and eliminates the need for disposable paper filters.
Red thermoplastic details: Add a bold color accent while forming the functional components around the carafe.
Purpose-built for cold extraction: Designed specifically for brewing coffee with cold water rather than adapted from a hot coffee maker.
Giulio Iacchetti design: Mazagran reflects Iacchetti's interest in rethinking familiar preparation methods through clear, functional objects.
Introduced in 2022: Mazagran joined the Alessi coffee collection as a dedicated cold brew system.
From Our Founder
"Mazagran works because everything about the design supports the brewing method. The glass keeps the process visible, the steel filter keeps it simple, and the red details give this version enough color to feel at home on the table."
Tony Boulton, Founder, Design & Grace
