From Our Founder
"The outward-curved serrations make this knife useful well beyond bread. The long blade handles a whole melon, layered cake, or roast with the same smooth slicing motion."

Questions answered
The Super Slicer is designed for long, controlled slices through bread, cakes, pies, large fruit, vegetables, and meat. Its 10-inch blade provides useful reach for substantial ingredients, while the serrated cutting edge helps reduce tearing and crumbling.
The Super Slicer has an outward-curved serrated edge rather than the more conventional profile of a bread knife. It handles crusty bread but is also useful for slicing melons, pineapple, cabbage, cakes, and substantial portions of meat, making it more versatile than a bread-only knife.
The outward curve helps maintain contact between the cutting edge and the food during long slicing strokes. Combined with the serrations, it helps the knife move through firm exteriors and delicate interiors without excessive downward pressure.
Both use a forged 10-inch blade with an outward-curved serrated edge. The CLASSIC IKON version adds the range's contoured handle and distinctive bolster design, providing a different grip and balance. The two knives share the same primary cutting applications.
