Alessi Moka Induction Espresso Maker by David Chipperfield
9-cup induction moka pot in cast aluminum with magnetic steel base and included American coffee filter
The Alessi Moka Induction Espresso Maker brings David Chipperfield's eleven-sided moka design to induction cooktops without losing the familiar stovetop brewing method. A cast aluminum upper body keeps the traditional moka character, while the magnetic steel base makes this 9-cup version suitable for induction cooking.

Chipperfield's Moka, Built for Induction
David Chipperfield reworked the classic moka pot with a more architectural eleven-sided body, an anti-drip spout, and a broad handle and knob designed for comfortable daily use. This induction version adds a magnetic steel base, allowing the same design to work on induction cooktops.
The flat lid can also be used as a warming surface for cups, while the included American coffee filter adds another way to prepare coffee with the same pot.
Signature Features
Induction-compatible base: A magnetic steel bottom makes the coffee maker suitable for induction cooking.
9-cup capacity: Holds approximately 15.2 fl oz for preparing a larger batch of moka-style coffee.
Cast aluminum body: Preserves the lightweight construction and heat behavior associated with traditional moka pots.
Eleven-sided profile: Gives the Moka its distinctive architectural form and sets it apart from conventional stovetop coffee makers.
Anti-drip spout: Shaped to improve pouring and help keep coffee from running down the side of the pot.
Flat warming lid: Provides a surface for warming cups before serving.
American coffee filter included: Adds flexibility beyond standard moka preparation.
David Chipperfield design: Introduced in 2019 as a restrained reinterpretation of an Italian coffee icon.
From Our Founder
"The induction version is the practical choice when you want Chipperfield's Moka design but cook on induction. You still get the cast aluminum body and the familiar stovetop process, with a steel base that makes the pot work on a modern cooktop."
