The magnetic angle support gives you a 15° side for fine, hard blades such as quality carbon and Damascus steels and a 20° side for a more durable edge on European chef’s knives, outdoor knives, and pocket knives. HORL’s Grip Pad and strong internal magnets help keep the blade securely positioned while you work.

The standard diamond grinding disc establishes the edge and works across knife hardness grades. Its block diamond surface removes up to 80% more steel than the HORL 2 version while producing a more uniform grinding pattern. The ceramic honing disc follows by removing the burr and refining the edge, with integrated grooves that help clear grinding dust from the blade.

HORL Quick Lock is the key difference between the HORL 3 and the simpler Cruise model.
