This is the disc to reach for when establishing the edge is the time-consuming part of the job. Once the coarse surface has done the heavier material removal, you can move through the appropriate HORL sharpening and honing stages to refine the cutting edge.

The stainless-steel disc uses HORL Quick Lock, so it twists directly onto compatible HORL 3 and HORL 3 Pro sharpeners without tools. HORL has the disc manufactured by regional partners near the Black Forest, combining its coarse diamond surface with the same interchangeable system used throughout the HORL 3 accessory range.
