Use & Care
Use the Standard Diamond disc to establish or refresh the primary cutting edge.
Attach the disc to a compatible HORL 3 sharpener using the Quick Lock system.
Use the disc dry. Do not soak it or add water.
Roll the sharpener evenly along the full cutting edge using the angle selected on the HORL magnetic support.
Work both sides of the blade until the bevel is consistent and a burr has formed.
Follow with the HORL Ceramic disc to remove the burr and refine the edge.
A small amount of excess diamond material may release during the first uses. This is normal.
The working surface settles into its intended roughness after initial use.
Use light, controlled pressure rather than forcing the disc against the blade.
Keep the disc dry between uses.
Do not place the disc in the dishwasher.
Use only with compatible HORL 3 Quick Lock sharpeners.
